Bo Moore's Village Street Music was first known as Bo Moore's Downtown Music, located in the heart of downtown Johnstown, which was established in 2002. Formally Weiser and Williams Music Store.  A new focus was established at the beginning of 2008, thus the store relocated to the offices above the Historic Johnny's Lounge, and our business goals highly exceeded our expectations. We focused more on the service aspect of music, thus giving more attention to our students and providing better quality entertainment into our DJ Events. However, the lure of the "Music Store" or "Guitar Shop" lingered so hence Bo Moore's Village Street Music.

Who We Are

Bo Moore - has been performing Acoustic Guitar professionally in Western and Central PA for over a decade. In addition to this, Bo has worked as a professional Disc Jockey since 1995, performing on radio at various community events.
Bo has combined retail sales and private lessons with his Music Service Business.
Bo has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters Degree form Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Bo was twice honored by readers of the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat as "Simply the Best" Music Act in the Region.
Bo and his wife Kim have two children, Tucker and Sally
